With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the pressure is on, yet again, for those with a partner. Especially for those couples who still have a semblance of a sex life, the right gift is pretty important.

Finding a gift that impresses, in my opinion, is not difficult if a sufficient budget is available. But should you go all out, I don’t advise. The problem is this - every gift you get has to be upped the following year. And this is accumulative.

Buying a diamond ring the first year is not a clever move, unless it’s a faux diamond ring. If you plan on seeing a girl for a long time, I suggest a comb, or a nice card.
