Keeping Abreast Of Things

Boobs, jugs, headlights, tits, melons, busts, knockers, bosom, they all mean the same thing - breasts. Most commonly found on a woman’s body, breasts are considered a vital part of the female anatomy, especially to the opposite gender.

A study conducted by an online research site found that breasts are the number one female body part that men love. (Followed by the bum and the face.) As a (sometimes) proud member of the male species, although I do not quite agree with the results of the study, I can’t argue against the fact that breasts are crucial to the attractive quotient of a girl.

Now, we all know that guys like to check girls out. And most of us do it openly. It is not because we are rude. Well, maybe we are but it’s not our fault, it’s in our genetic make-up. Continue Reading…

Not All Jobs Fall From Trees

Now that it is April, many undergrads in the local universities who are in the final year of their course of study have already begun looking around for possible job opportunities. Based on personal estimation, I would say that around 70-80 percent of such students would already have an idea of which line they are going into.

I remember when I was at that period. Enrolled and entombed in a course that I had exactly zero interest in, I knew I wouldn’t be happy if I carried on and worked in the field that I was currently studying for. Not so sure what I wanted to do with my life, I applied for all kinds of jobs, covering many sectors.

I went for several interviews for IT positions, finance positions, human resource positions etc and I found that despite having very different work demands, the interviewers were all looking for the same qualities in the candidates. Continue Reading…

Blogs And Dollars

Just how much can you make from blogging? I’m not talking about famous people who make appearances and attend events. I’m talking about earning cash from ads and reviews. Well, on the main page of PayPerPost, there is a standings chart showing the top money earners of the day, the month and of all time.

Naturally, as I scrolled down that page and the chart came into view, my eyes inadvertently gravitated towards it. Twenty thousand US dollars!!! Mein Gott! That is just crazy! That is what some university graduates in Singapore earn a year.

This month’s top earner has already racked up in excess of $300. And that is in four days. So four days $300, 30 days… $2000? Two thousand dollars a month times 12 months is $20,000 plus a year. I wonder if this is taxable… Continue Reading…

When A Pay Rise Is Bad

A pay rise is almost always viewed as a positive step. When is it never? Well, maybe if the increase in salary does not justify the increase in workload, that could be one instance where a pay rise is not something you would want.

Another instance does not involve the change in work. You see, in the sunny island where I live, an annual wage of S$30,000 (US$21,700), not including bonuses, introduces the unsuspecting worker to the dark realm of income tax.

Let’s see… $30,000 divided by 12… Using my trusty abacus… That would be $2500 a month. Continue Reading…

Hope For The Ugly

All people are not created equal. Some are better. Some are not as well built. To put it bluntly, the lucky ones are pretty as peach, the others look like they fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

However, do not fret if you are ugly. There is sufficient evidence to support the theory that the ugly are capable of finding a partner to have sex with. It is not an urban legend. There is even a slight suggestion that ugly people have more sex than their attractive counterparts.

The fact that there are still ugly people in the world today is proof that ugly people are procreating. When two good looking people have a child, it makes genetic sense that the child will turn out good looking as well. It can be likened to binary math.

1+1=1
